New Service: SANDBLASTING with “Crushed Glass”

Crushed Glass Blasting Media Is Now Available!
In response to customer requests, we have carefully chosen an abrasive to add with our Soda Blasting line-up. Although baking soda blasting (sodium bicarbonate) remains our main focus, we now have the capabilities to use Crushed Glass media. What this means to our customers is that we can now offer a substrate profile and we can produce "white metal" on most rusty projects. What is Crushed Glass?

· It is manufactured from 100% Recycled Bottle Glass.

· The use of post-consumer glass directly beniﬁt the environment by reducing land ﬁll waste.

· The manufacturing process reduces the glass and strips the contaminants and waste by-products from the glass.

· The product is then sized and screened to the exact speciﬁcation’s needed for various Abrasive Blasting needs.

· Bottle or Tri-Mix Glass is chemically known as “Amorphous Silica”. It has virtually no crystalline-silica which is commonly found in sand.

Note: Crystalline Silica is the leading cause of Silicosis.
